WINWIRE: Unifrax Win for Olefins Reconfiguration Project

Unifrax has been selected to supply thermal insulation blanket and modules to Insulation Korea Co., Ltd. (IK) for Thai PTT Global Chemical Pcl (PTTGC) and Samsung Engineering Co., Ltd as part of a $985 million investment in a new olefins plant. Insulation Korea Co., Ltd.(IK) is an insulation contractor in Korea.

PTTGC awarded Samsung Engineering Co., Ltd. the $790 million engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract for the Olefins Reconfiguration Project (ORP).

This win is a global effort for Unifrax with engineers and sales teams working together from across Unifrax Korea, Brazil, India, Europe and USA. Unifrax will supply Durablanket^® thermal insulation and Anchor-Loc^® 3 Modules as part of the ORP Naptha Cracker Project for 5 x SRT-VI Heaters.
