Filtering products by: Fibres
Fibres, Microfine Glass Fibers
Unifrax Chopped Glass Microfibres provide unique properties as a reinforcing agent or filler material in rubbers, plastics, paints, adhesives, ceramics and speciality papers.
Unifrax C-Glass Microfibres are engineered for wet-laid non-woven manufacturers to use as a raw material for the manufacturing of cryogenic insulation products. Our binder-free cryogenic glass mat products offer tank manufacturers multiple options to reduce weight and cost.
E-Glass Chopped Strand Fibres are an additive for papermaking.
Fiberfrax®
Fibres
Fiberfrax® 6000 Series Refractory Ceramic Fibres are a range of high-temperature fibres designed for use in a variety of industrial and commercial applications.
Fiberfrax® Bulk & Chopped Fibres are a range of high-temperature fibres designed to be used in a variety of industrial and commercial applications.
Fiberfrax® High-Index Fibres have proven to be a good reinforcement material for use in automotive brake lining and other friction materials. The fibres can also be used as a mechanical thixotrope in coatings applications, offering reinforcement and fire resistance as additional benefits.
In addition to Fiberfrax® Bulk Fibres, Unifrax has the ability to produce many different speciality fibres that provide a variety of desirable performance properties for certain applications including Fiberfrax® Large-Diameter Fibres.
Fibermax®
Fibermax® Bulk Fibre is a high-temperature speciality fibre for use in applications beyond recommended operating temperatures of 1540 °C.
Unifrax is recognised as a leader in microfibre process and product innovation. Our fibre products are distinguished by their high specific surface area, high tensile strength, consistent glass composition, and purity.
Unifrax produces Glass Pellets as a raw material for many industrial applications.
Insulfrax®
Insulfrax® Fibre and Insulfrax insulation products are based on a calcium, magnesium and silicate composition that produces products capable of withstanding continuous operating temperatures up to 1100°C.
Isofrax®
Isofrax® 1260C Fibre is the product of a long-term research and development effort by Unifrax to produce a low bio-persistent fibre that has the high-temperature performance characteristics required in many applications at temperatures up to 1260 °C and also meets low bio-persistent European regulatory requirements.
Saffil®
Saffil® Alumina Fibres are high-purity polycrystalline fibres designed for use in applications up to 1600 °C.
