Lauscha Fiber Sudogda plant is located in Sudogda, Russian Federation, about 200 km from Moscow. The Site was found in March 2006 as a part of “Lauscha Fiber International” group which included 4 plants: in the USA, Germany, Bahrain and in Russia. Start of production was in October 2006 with only 2 lines.
In 2013 this group was bought by Unifrax and reorganized in a new group called Speciality Fibres. Lauscha Fiber Sudogda produces unique Microglass fibre for export to Lauscha, Germany. This Fibre satisfies the strictest safe-health and technical requirements existing in EU and is mainly used in filters in auto and medical industry. The plant is the only one in Russia specialized in Microglasfiber like this.
The Site operates 24/7 days a week with 17 machines and has about 100 employees from a Quality, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, HR departments and Production floor now.
