Unifrax has announced the renaming of our Ohio vacuum forming businesses today. The newly named businesses are now Unifrax Engineered Thermal Components.
Approximately six years ago Unifrax I LLC purchased three businesses in Sebring and Columbiana, Ohio including: Refractory Specialties Inc. (RSI), Specialty Ceramics Inc. (SCI) and VacuForm Inc. (VFI). Unifrax announced today we are officially rebranding these businesses with the Unifrax corporate name and organizing the businesses under the name Unifrax Engineered Thermal Components. Unifrax unveiled the new branding to Unifrax employees in Ohio on Thursday, and are communicating with customers over the next week.
“We want to assure our loyal customers, other than our new name and Unifrax wordmark, we are still manufacturing the same quality thermal components and product offerings you have come to expect from RSI, SCI and VFI,” said Stephen Juda, Global Director, Unifrax Engineered Thermal Components. “We value our long term relationships and responding to our customers’ needs. This new name provides us with a consistent, unique business name to refer to the Unifrax vacuum forming businesses worldwide, to add long term value to the Unifrax brand, and build recognition in thermal management markets, establishing Unifrax as a leader in engineered thermal components.”
